April 10, 2011... 12 tornadoes strike central and northern parts of Wisconsin. In Lincoln County, 22 homes and seven businesses were destroyed. In Adams county, seven homes and three businesses are gone. And, there's major damage in Outagamie, Waushara and Winnebego Counties.

Wisconsin averages 21 tornadoes annually and in 2010 there were 46 confirmed tornadoes... the second greatest yearly number on record.Wisconsin Emergency Management is also monitoring several rivers that are above flood stage. The National Weather Service says the Mississippi River is expected to remain high until early May.
